Guilt-free Motherhood
Parent Education, Consultation & Coaching

Every mother wants to be a good mother.

In a culture that is quick to blame mothers for everything that goes wrong with their child, guilt pressures moms to feel that they are never enough, that they constantly need to be more and do more for their kids.
Following the demanding voice of guilt mothers are constantly in a state of pursuit- never arriving, never good enough, and therefore never feel deserving.

Guilt Free Motherhood is about awareness, realizing choices, effective and empowered parenting, and building authentic and nurturing  relationships among mothers.

The consultation, coaching, workshops and groups offer information and support to help you:

· Understand and manage the complexity of your
  relationship with your kid/s

·
Reflect on the various ways in which mothering
  affects you

· Inspire you to realize your choices while taking
  your own needs into consideration

· Foster authentic connection between you and
 other moms

"When I was a new mom, and in the midst of my Ph.D. studies 15 years ago, I felt overburdened by psychological theories exclusive discussion of mothering from the perspective of the child.
I desperately wanted to know what mothers
thought and felt (not only what they needed to do for their child's healthy development) during this time of transition, and the years to come.

In the years that followed, I learned a great deal about the communication among mothers, both from my personal experience as a mother, and from talking and interviewing moms for my research on mothering. I noticed how the mask of the perfect mother which moms put-on in the need to protect themselves against criticism and judgment, often prevents honest, heart to heart conversations among mothers.

While in the past 8 years a growing number of mothers have been finally giving voice to their mothering experiences via writing, still, most new and not so new mothers are often unable or afraid to voice their thoughts and feelings stirred up by mothering. Moms often experience those feelings unacceptable and therefore hide them either from themselves and/or from others. This in turn contributes to a deep sense of isolation many mothers report feeling, regardless of their friendships with other moms.

Guilt-Free Motherhood was founded in order to support moms and encourage them to express their feelings and thoughts about mothering, and therefore gain a greater understanding of themselves and their relationship with their kid/s.
Integrating practical and pragmatic solutions to parenting issues, with insight and self-other awareness help moms feel effective and empowered".
