Mothers Matter

This group is for new moms and their pre-crawling babies.
In this group moms have the opportunity to connect with one another while exploring the joys and challenges of mothering and bring up questions or concerns about their baby. If you wish to feel more at ease with your role as mother, feel confused about what you thought motherhood would feel like and what you actually feel, find the loss of control over your life more challenging than you have expected, you will find exploring and sharing these and other parts of your experience tremendously helpful and comforting.  

This group meets for 5 weeks, 2h/sessions

A weekly group meeting (two hours) will help you in the process of decision-making (whether to go back to the same job/career/field that you left behind or begin to explore new venues, part-time/full-time questions, etc.), while addressing the fears, doubts, uncertainty, pressure, excitement, and confusion involved in this process.  
A clear goal, a plan and full support on each step of the way is part of this group agenda

Ready or Not Here it Comes

This is a group for mothers of teens who are about to leave home (within a year or less), and for those who’s kid/s have recently left.

Having a support group where you can share your thoughts and feelings about the pending change will make a significant difference in the way you will experience and adjust to this major transition.

This group meets for 4 week, 2h/sessions

Discussion Group

This group meets once every month, for theoretical discussions on issues pertaining to the experience of motherhood from the mother’s perspective.

Discussions will revolve around exploring participants’ thoughts, questions and ideas based on their personal interest, as well as reading material.
